The Hammer Scale is used to compare relative sizes of software applications. The Hammer rating ranges from 1 for very simple compact application to 6 for a fully featured application suite.

 A large package with executable components that will not fit on a single floppy disk.

 An extremely large package maybe with features that could have been removed without affecting basic functionality.
